that is correct Sim... Is it totally stripped??
I read somewhere resently that Escort 3dr rears fit straight over without needing anything .. beside the window and seal ofcause.

yes everything taken out, all damping material and so on as well.
yes the normal 3 rd escort rear windows will fit, as well as the complete doors.
I m thinking to get polycarbonate rear windows.
not really through as i m looking for a possible supplier and prices.

paint the bolts with a spray primer, that will stop them rusting, and put a little bit of sealant/ jointing compound on the back, the non hard setting stuff, that will A) stop the bolts rusting, and B) stop water getting in and causing corrosion, which then stops rusty water running down your window

I took mine out....never opened them!!! All caged out so can't get in back.
mk5 3dr one go straight in though.
