Pics of underside, what av you??
Looking at painting the underside of my escort, need some inspiration and ideas as to what other people have done

I just degreased mine and it has come back to the factory primer/overspray perfectly, still need to remove the heatshild and exhaust so I can clean them and the tunnel area
I also over the winter powder coated the front suspension, this winter I will do the back

there is a way my friend will be stripping the underside of my car and spraying it with a special liner that will be coloured and is vertually impregnable... rustproof and just get a jet wash on it and the dirt comes right off. obviously the beam and that will need to be powdercoated after but once things have been done once and properly should last a very long time

Obviously i dont use it when its wet, but take it out whenever i can. Saying that, thats not much at all lately. I think ive done about 1500 miles in 18 months.

Could not resist painting it while it was stripped
cleaned
stone chipped with gravex to seal it
and a healthy coat of basecoat lacquer
should be easy to keep clean a quick jet was now and again
