alternator tensioner pulley
Does any one know if you can buy the pulley seperate from the tensioner?

yep, got raped for one of these a while back to find i had the wrong belt on which was causing the pig squeel... but another new part, so dont mind.

Well went yesterday and you are correct you cant buy it seperately, However the parts man did find an alternative pulley with the same bearing etc for £17. Only difference is that it doesn't have the groove in the middle of the outer face. Speaking to a few engineers at work they reckon it shouldn't be a problem.

it would be if you concoursed it, deduct 3 points for missing groove,lol
