Remove fogs, air filter (just the top half), Indicators & grill, thats it easy. The hard bit is getting the new lights in not the old ones out. The Nuts & bolts are a shit to get to.

right I have got the air filter off, removed the grill took the side lights out, will removing the fogs and indicators in the bumper give me access to the fixing at the bottom of the headlights?

is it a good idea to jack the car up and access these bolts from underneath or should I be able to do it all with the car on the floor?

thanks in advance

Andy

I changed mine over with the car on the floor. Driver side was 'fiddly' but if you have decent tools it's an easy enough job.

If you remove the top bolts ect it makes it quite easy to spot where the lower one are. Also, removeing the foggs and indicators will help things..

As Stoo said with the Indicators & fogs out you'll see the bolts.

if you leave the bumper on then you really need a 1/4" drive extension bar and suitable sized socket to get on the lower bolts as they are a right pain to get at and not enough room to get a 1/2" drive in

Take the bumper off,it's easier than you think.gives you much better access.
