just orderd some brand new 18" rondells for my cos but the suspension is standerd. but im thinking now im putting bigger wheels on it may well need lowering abit but what i want to know is can i just change the springs with out doing the hole lot as i dont want to spend to much money if so what springs and what size thanx steve

I've just done the same on mine & I'm looking at the Koni shocks & ahmed springs. Mike off here sells them & your looking at £160 for the springs & £310 for the 4 shocks.

I would of thought you could get away with a 1" drop on the standard shocks but if they have never been replaced their probably well past their best so I plan to do the whole lot together.

Make sure you get the geometry reset after changing the suspension to get the best out of it.

£160 sounds ok. my shocks our fine as the car as not done much and i want to keep it standerd as poss just think the wheels will set it of
