Hi lowman, i know what ya mean about the gatebil shows as ive noticed a change in them over the few years ive been here.
As you say some good things to see but bit too much pissing it up. Prefere the ford meet in aug.

ahh kongsberg is pretty close to rudskogen ..especially compared to me.i live in stavanger..on the west coast..like 500+km from where you are.
yeah the gatebil show has gone down to be a drinkin festival with alot of just drifters,youngsters that party, and stuff like that.but of course like you said also..there is stuff to see..and i agree that the ford meet in august is better.i guess i will attend on the ford meet this year.i hope.

hey people
i picked up my car from the paintshop today.and a nice couple of layers of fresh paint was on it
pretty happy with the end result.though it has some dust bits here and there..but its so minor i didnt bother.its an engine bay afterall
will also begin to assemble the engine late next week.hopefully.now its just tidying all the electrics back in there.do it as neat as possible.
but lets get to it..here are some pics of the engine bay and the dog watching

it's so good though that the factory holes spoil it - you should have gone the extra mile and filled them all and smoothed it all out. and then run the wiring inside the wheel arches for a really tidy engine bay

i do know about the holes..and yeah i thought about it..but beeing so sick and tired of the car at the moment..i couldnt be botheredheh,and most of the innerwings will be covered anyways..so you wont see it when everything is in place..or at least not as visible as now.luckily.heh
and the wiring...just wait and see..i do have a planwill not be hidden as much as you suggested...but it will be good.i wouldnt settle with it not beeing tidy!!

Hey lowman car is looking better every week, yes i have my cossy here in norway, but will take the ferry from stavanger on thurs 10th april to england as will go to germany in may to drive the nurburgring and my car needs setup and test.
Hope to have it back for the summer here and can take a trip over to stavanger for a coffee 1 time.

been fiddling with the electrics...tidying it up.have done some more stuff since these pics..and will just keep posting as i get to take the pics.

here is a little update.
been polishing the "new"! brakes.there was some surface rust on them.but they are back as they supposed to be now.
also a couple of pics with the wheel and brakes so you can see how little you see of the brakes when they all go on the car.damn!
but its all gonna be nice.
soon to come is some engine updates
but first is the shiny brakes update pics

hey people
things are starting to come together.still waiting for the rest of the engine parts so i can put it all together and in the car.but i have done the engine block..and did some dry fitting of the wrc breather..and oilfilter..just to check how it fits..and i have to come up with something where the oil pressure outlet and the oilpressure switch.i think i will remote it..move it up besides the inlet or something.
but enough talk.have a look at the pics and enjoy
