With the talk of the Chacellor increasing car tax by two fold tomorrow,what are other peoples views on this, I only ever tax my Escort for 6months, just in case I don't live any longer that that.

But imagine they double the 2.0litre tax band to £400 a year. It makes my blood boil. Lets hope its just the 1 mother 1 child brigade in the 20litre Cherokee's he hits.

The chancellor gets my vote (on the back of his head.) such an Ar@shole.

my mrs just taxed her new shape vectra diesel for 74 notes for
6 months. i have seen adverts for new fiestas saying the tax
is under 60 pounds for a whole year , if the escort cosworth was
a new car i wouldn't like to be paying for road tax
