just wanted to tell you guys,.and girls that my wrc bumper on my escort cossi was trashed today..a fookin stupid ass ran his car ,with a towbar..straight into my bumper..and he didnt even give me a notice.it was while my car was parked.just hope i can sort out who it is..got some clues already.get some pics of it later on.

nooooo.. it was a copy, but a good one, with all the ducting on the inside as a proper WRC one.. Pics Bokkelibokkbokkbokkens!

its a copy made from a real one.but made out of fiberglass and kevlar.
many of the copys are shite..but this one is perfect and totally similar to the original one.the guy who made it ,a norwegian proper ford nut.he has two rs200"s,and a rs500 rally car.he made 2 wrc bumpers from the casting of and original wrc bumper he had laying around.heh.and one of the two is mine.
yeah...and i know its written "bumper"..but i was just stressed when i wrote the thread

here are some pics of the damage...pics speaks for themselves,,even the frame behind the bumper is bent
but i guess it will be possible to fix it proper ..so ill cross my fingers

yeah..as i said above..we have some ideas at least of which car did it...so...and i talked to the neighbours donwstairs..and they were drunk at the time..and they obviously knew something about it..so...i think it will turn out pretty good.at least i hope so

looks like the easiest part of the bumper to repair though on a straight centre section and like K5SSY said the plate would hide any imperfections in the repair....could have been worse, it could have been either side corner! Good luck getting even

Easily repairable though, i've done far far more damage to fibgreglass bumpers in the past and it came out looking fine!

the driver of the car that hit mine..has to been drunk..and ive got many clues leading me to think so..so i think this will turn out to be not just an innsurance case,but also a police matter...so...we will just have to wait and see.will get back to the people who say that they know what happend...on wednsday..and will contact the police again tomorrow..to give them a brief on whats going on.

and dan..thanx for the uplifting words..i think it will be repairable too.people who know to fix fiberglass will do this pretty easily i think.so.hehe yeah
