if you order one off Mike then you get the metal surround that fits perfect when the ashtray is taken out.

mine gets hot down there though and i think it would be better placed higher up,in the vent or clock area.

they are well worth it Andy.

Secs monitors are the bollox.....

The old....





Then bought a pectel monitor so,
The new... I reckon I will move it to the radio position and drop the radio into the lower din slot

Guys sorry for me being thick and probably asking some dumb q's...
These monitors looks the nuts and I definately want to put one on the old shopping list...

Firstly what do these monitors actually do... I take it they just monitor engine sensors like boost oil etc..

Also what do u need to have one of these things up and running?and rough cost

And what is the best one to get Secs or Pectal

SECS monitors

Boost, coolant, ACT's, RPM (Kinda), throttle position, voltage at ecu... peaks and actuals

IMO the SECS is better than pectel, I have just always wanted a pectel monitor ROFL..
