Default No amal valve

Hi

Anyone know why my car haS no amal Valve and the boost/vacum pipes that go to the Turbo and actuator was just hanging there going to nothin at all

my cars had a stage 3 ahmed bajoo / grove conversion would they have took it off?



befor i started taking things off the car was running sweet it was holding boost well, not overboosting ect or running funny at all any ideas?

Quite common with conversions, unfortunately a lot of chips do away with the ecu control of boost

ok so i can get my head round that but what about the fact that the boost pipes that was attached to he Turbo and Actuator wasnt connected to anything at the other end?

Whats Controling the Boost presure?

my valve is fitted and pluged in but the pipes are blocked off,in place of the amal valve is a manual bleed screw type valve,i have fitted a ggr 2.5 bar chip so ive been told

mine dont run an amal valve either.

its there, but not plugged in...

I would have thought that it would of been plugged and the boost controlled solely by the actuator (it would have to be an uprated one) or the free end would be partially plugged to vent some pressure like a manual bleed valve. If the pipe was unrestricted then I suspect the car would be overboosting due to too much bleed off (but I could be wrong, maybe the bore isn't big enough or the actuator is wound right down).

im not sure if your right about the actuator being wound right down you know if it was then even if it was overboosting then it would only boost as much as the actator would let it wouldnt it?

think the conversion on my car was done over 7 years ago so it may have been how armed bayjoo and mark grove done things back then? anyone?
