Breather system
Hi Guys
Has anyone else who has fitted an after market engine breather system suffered from blocking pipes, with moisture/white shite. This has happened twice now and subject to this oil is getting past turbo seals, causing embarrassing Vauxhall Cavalier tail smoke.

Does your car live outside like mine????? because i have this in mine on the top pipe of the mirror image tank.It is definitely condensation on mine as the car lives outside and has hardly moved in months. Fortunately i dont have a return to the air filter with the new setup.

Yes it lives outside, and it is condensation, if the pipe runs are too long, then condensation does form and emulifies with the oil. It is common with a car that doesn't warm up much, and head gasket, (not that).
I have a can on the right turret, a breather from the original place under the inlet and an extra one from under the exhaust manifold. Both these feed the can. Then I have a pipe at the bottom of this can feeding a return to the original place. And on the top a vent to atmosphere. The whole thing woks like crap, ever since I put it on there, I have had oil feeding back from my turbo problems, after a while.
So the crank isn't venting, hence the oil return tries to find another way out, like through the turbo, even had oil spray coming out the dump valve.
Going to put the original back on, unless someone pursuades me otherwise.

Doesnt sound good mate!
Im wondering why yours vents to atmosphere from the top? unless the cans are different from the mirror image tanks then im sure it should vent to atmosphere under the car?
You got any good tuners/garages near you that could help you out?
