Default not to sure where to post this but!

What advantages would be gained by moving the engine back further into the bulkhead of an escort cosworth track car and what is required to do so....?

massive massive work if staying 4 wd the front shafts run through the sump so you would need to run a shaft in front of the sump somehow and thats just a start of the problems,

hi, i agree! to much work and what end?? why do you want to do that?? the only benefit i can think of is to get to the cam belt!! etc,lol throw the money into the engine/suspension etc-

cheers for that it was just an idea as you see some very high spec cossies with the engine sitting far into the bulkhead for weight distrubution i think?
