You need to a have a seperate system for your handbrake to your normal brakes. If you just plumb in the hydraulic handbrake you car will fail the MOT. That means either keeping the handbake cable, even though it will actually do nothing. Or using seperate callipers for you handbrake.

love the chrome brakes ( i want some )

but, you can not do handbrake turns on an escort or 4x4 saff as its permanent 4 wheel drive.
you will just keep moving or lock all 4 wheels.

if you want to do handbrake turns you need to convert to RWD / fit a electronic center diff ( as grp A cars had )...........

handbrake turns????
if its a standard gearbox 4wd, its not meant to have the rear wheels
stopped for a hb turn, there are rally gearboxes that have handbrake
release,and they cost££££££'s
