Whilst having a good clean up at the weekend, i took my rear seats out only to discover 1 x bag that had never been used and 2 pumps mounted under the rear seats, looks like a water injection kit of some sort, can anyone shed any light on this ?

Which means you have one of the 2500 first cars that came with the water injection parts...

Im sure someone else will give you the whole story though...

yeah mines the same got the water injection lurking there
i think it was made by erl,and was there just not connected up

It was included in the homologation run of EsCos' to allow WI to be used in rallying. The std water bag wasn't used as the rules allowed a btter/proper tank to be used. The jet would have been supplied by ERL, the pumps are just Granny headlamp washers as I recall.

i read about that in this months performance ford, its one of 2500 made for homologation purposes
