Check with the insurance company first Duncan. Mine was insured for Ł20k before I put the wheels and brakes on, spent another Ł6k on it and they wouldn't cover me for more than Ł22k That was through Boncaster RSOC scheme. Worth while speaking to Phil Saunders and get it valued imo

How do you go about getting a proper rsoc valuation? I assume you have to take the car to them for an inspection of some sort?

Cheers.

Send a SAE to Phil Saunders, his address is in the RN, he will send you the relevant documents

The Registrar can do it vis photographs mate, i think you need 24 pics of the car(signed and dated) showing all 4 sides, engine bay, interior and underside etc. a copy of all your paperwork for the car and send them off to Phil, who will them send you back a valuation which you can forward to your insurance company

Dunc yours has got to be 25K anyway matey
