as above.
the leather looks nice and brings more money - but it doesnt hold you in the seat aswell as cloth and they are hot in summer/cold in winter and makes you back sweat

Cloth for me. Didnt purposely buy cloth but had a cloth interior ready incase i bought one with leather. It just feels much comfier than leather and looks better too in my opinion.

I wanted cloth as if you leave your car on a show ground all day it sure does heat up inside
I'd only have leather if it had air con too as you use that to cool things down a bit before driving off.
I would go for leather if kids were ever likely to get inside my car.

i use loads of leather treatments to keep mine minty but its alot of upkeep, but it keeps em looking like this, i would prefur the maintainance free aspect of the cloth items

Ive got cloth in mine and it hold you much better than leather as i went in my mates 400bhp cossy and i was sliding all over the place. But I think the leather does look a tad better and obviously worth more and if i got an escort cossy with leather I would take it out and store it to stay mint when i sold the car and use Cloth while using the car.
