The most effective handling modification you can do for the mony. If you have the space, fit one!!!

Mine probably does nothing though

just don't plan on going shopping in it afterwards though :)

according to some people, you will also need to triangulate it to some point of the boot floor for maximum rigidity, but then you DEFFINITLY won't be able to go anywhere with much in the boot :)

i've got one on mine because of the coilovers.

I'll get a picture up of mine tommorow if I get chance! Quality item which I bought from www.philloy.co.uk & was dead easy to fit which was a bonus, no drilling required :top: :top:

So do they make a difference or not-whats the official line :D

dave cos4x4 22-02-2006 06:21 PM

think they make the car feel more solid, stop the shell twisting abit, especially with the coilovers and track use.

Paul Eggleton 23-02-2006 08:01 PM

Fitted one to mine purely because of the coilovers.

Didnt realise there was a big need to have a rear strut brace with coilovers until reading the similar responses above!

But im using one in mine anyway... and a full cage

Do strut braces make the car much tighter?
