nice car mate , what kinda wheels is on it ?

hi there matey nice mk2 im building a signal yellow rs the same as yours can you tell me what size your wheels are its hard to tell im going for 15 but im not sure if the are going to fit?? what tyres do you recommend ?? i will be running some form of coilover's all round also so suspension travel will be minimum kind regards

cheers fellas,with the 15 minilites i use 6x15 wheels with 195/50/15 888r's,on the oz super't's i use 195/40/16 as they are 6x16.the car is being xpack at the moment and i picked up the new wheels today and they look fucking awesome imo
they are 10x17 image split rims with 245/40/17's on them at the minute

very nice mate do you think il get 7x15 under the arch im going for some form of oz race wheel i think with 195/50/15 i dont want to buy a set and they dont fit lol. i noticed a thread saying 50's will fit on a 7i wheel but i need to be sure so if anyone out there already running them let me know

if your using 7's i would be inclined to try 195/45/15's m8,make sure they dont rub on the rear tho with 7inch wheels

thanks dudes could have saved me 200 bucks lol think il go for the 45's just to be sure the front arches have been rolled up but back still untouched and mint! so they can stay the way they are lol cheers

well started cutting the rear end out awhile back to fit the tubs redeay to accept the x-pack and bigger wheels,got some new brakes and corsa power steering as well for it.i have sold the old engine and am now installing a new motor still a yb but now with external gated gt30,swedish inlet and a set of siemans 1000cc.a couple of pics anyway.the o/s tub should be done this week with a bit of luck

well started putting the turbo and inlet on the new engine this week,hopefully have it installed this week at some stage so that i can then sort out the external gate etc...then off to have the motec fitted and mapped





got the a.p's fitted on the front as well
