yeah think they can be made to fit lengthwise, but they will raise the rear up. i once had to put some 3 litre capri leafs on a mk1 it was ridiculously high at the back.

tell us about whether you got that rs prop to bolt to a 2.8 axle flange....
still say it will go...

well cheers about the spring info but as for the rs 2000 prop on to the 2.8 axle and 2.8 box well , im not sure if we have a rs prop now but the prop we have dont fit in the box and is miles away from fitting on the rear flange on the axle how do i tell if its a rs prop it come off a 1.1 but it is a single piece ?

if it came off a 1.1 it ain't a rs prop, the bit that goes in the gearbox is too small and so is the flange. proper rs mk2 props have a c.v. joint in the centre, but one piece ones are available, base 1.1 models etc had 1 piece props cos they're cheaper but not as good. have you got a centre mount under the floor of the car?

yeah get a one piece rs prop....
did you say you was puttin the 2.8 box on a pinto? 'cos it won't fit without modding the input shaft

Default gearbox input shaft

cheers for all your help do you know what i will have to do to the input shaft as some people have just said chop an inch off others say chop a bit and then get the end turned down help
