hello all i have a small problem i have an escort cosworth and i live in australia. that is not the problem though you see what it is it has a vecta imobiliser fitted and some times when i put the imobiliser key in the fuel pump does not start up after waitimg for a short time though it will then start the fuel pump and then i can start the car i would like to know if anyone can tell me how the vecta is wired up and is it wired to the fuel pump with the vecta key out it just turns over and does not start i would like to disconect it and try it without the imobiliser on for a few days to see if the problem goes away or if there is another fault also sometimes when driving it it seems to cut out for a second or so sometimes this could be a problem if it happens in the bush any help please regards

just had a simaler problem replaced crank sensor for the customer ...his got to the point of total non start
