Stupid question Jeff?

If the cossie was costing to much in juice, why buy a bigger engined car.

Looks a mint car, but sooner have had your cossie.

cheaper on the insurance and i would say so on the juice too , i was only getting 40 miles to £20 optimax in the cossie normal driving and the golf will run on normal unleaded Plus its a good 7 years newer than the cossie and hopefully a lot more reliable, only time will tell

A simple set up would have sorted that out mate.

let me be the first to let you know YOU WILL GET BORED!!!!!!

i had a MINT vr6 you prob saw it on fiesta turbo full vw history etc etc.... they are nice cars but they handle terrible, you have to rev them hard to get the power, they guzzle fuel and arent as fast as they are made out.....

i cut my losses and sold mine spent a fortune modding it to try to improve the handling to no joy they just handle bad......

sounds real nice and goes quite well when thrashed but thats all it has going for it!!!!

i sold mine and bought my cossie never looked back the cossie is better mpg!!! and its faster!!! and it handles 10x's better!!!!

really think you shud have kept the cossie...

just my opinion they are a nice car but imo not one of the best to drive...

I'll be second, that lasted 6 weeks, inc 2 weeks in the trader- Awesome car for what they are, sound lovely, excellent example of mid 90's sporty/high end hot hatch.

Engine wise- if you dont thrash it from cold you'll be fine they go on for ever- headgaskets are a killer if you ever need to do one. Pre 96 cars rot like fuck.
If yours has leather its a highline- those BBS wheels are not correct for the car- BOTHERED YEH?? LOL>

Watch out for the ABS which is the only real weak point on the car. Mine used to play up a bit but was ok..
Ecu is 500 sovs, front wheels sensors 90 and rear 60 - some people have chased the fault for ages and never won.
I got 19-22mpg from mine.

Jake

Vr6 are nice cars, a friend of mine also has one (215bhp tuned)

But, swapped for a cossie????

Sorry, but i think it's not so smart....a cossie is a rare en special car. A VR6 isn't. And, a cossie is fast (an good tune-able) car

But if you're satisfied with the car, then it's ok
