Right peeps my 4x4 saff cossie was runnin 1.5bar boost stage 3 tuned t34 turbo etc etc

since the boost was set at 1.5bar i have also fitted a forge motorsport rs500 intercooler and just fitted a large universal piprcross cone filter ,but noticed last night that the car wasnt boosting past roughly 1 bar ,certainly wasnt boosting 1.5bar and did feel rather flat !!

will i need to get my boost upped again as i may have lost a fair bit with rs500 intercooler and now the car is breathing a lot better as it sounds like a huge vax hoover with cone filter now or is there summit wrong elsewhere with boost loss ??

i know what you mean, mine felt slower once i put my 500 i/c on, so uot came the 11mm spanner and up went the boost! worked a treat and is waaaay better than before.

 

Yep just didnt think i would loose as much boost as that tbh but u never know !!

 

sounds like you need a trip to go get it set up again

 

defo get it set up... dont just up the boost
