Think it's more the fact he's took a 3dr shell & 'made' it into an RS500 shell with an old VIN plate & V5. That's how I'm reading it anyway.

as per Martin, if the DVLA inspected that car it would be shoved on a Q. Not even worth as much as a nice original low mileage 3 door IMO

Have to agree it's a 3 door with 500 bits. It can never be a 500 as it left the factory a 3 door Cossie. Same as the lad on here that wanted his log book changing to RST as it had had all the RST bits added.

Shame, as the car sounds nice. Shame the DVLA will go loopy if they ever get to look at it

Bottom line is he should of just reparied the rust in the 500 shell, he's clearly happy to spend a shit load of money on it. And at least that would of kept all the numbers correct.

More money than sense, and just like the Y2K RS he'll have a hard time selling it!

And for all the people over there saying "stop being nsaty to him" Well maybe he shouldn't build cars and try and sell them as other things. Then people would maybe respect him a little more

 

That was supposed to make 550bhp on 25psi on 7:2:1 comp ratio wasnt it. Didnt belive it myself but its not real.

They do not give a shit, the law is the law... and they are there to do there job.

That car is a 'ringer' the only difference is, neither of the vehicles was stolen, but that doesnt matter to DVLA...
