series 1 Brakes
Yes we all know they are rubbish as standard
But what is the best way forward in getting better brakes on
a budget.
i've just been offerd some xr4i calipers and disc's
do they fit?
if not what other options are their?
any comments welcome as i don't know what option
to go for.
Thanks
Mark

They are the same as S2's so yes.
If you had an extra £100 get a set of brackets (£40) off Clint Gaskins site
which will allow you to repostion your S2 callipers and install
285mm 2wd Cossie disc's (£60 any car accessory shop) which will totally transform your brakes.

The S2 caliper on bracket set up, sits higher up the disc than the 4x4's do
which provides more torque/braking effect. Have a look at www.turbosport.co.uk for a more in depth explanation
