Default In car MP3/WMA help needed

I have an Alpine CDA-9812RB in the car and am trying to compile a CD to play on a trip to Dorset next week.

Poxy computer keeps putting the tracks in order for me so I get 8 albums and it plays the first track of all the albums and then the second track of all the albums

It's doing my head in, How do I do it right. At this rate I'm tempted to go back to tapes

are you using nero?

are all the albums in their seperate folders before you burn them?

I just drag and drop each album onto the disc and stick it in my alpine and it works fine!

Don't have Nero. Only Windows Media Player.

If I drop each albums folder onto the disc how do I access them on the headunit?

on my alpine it will start playing from the first album right through all the tracks until the last album.

to select an album u press 3 then scroll through the albums using the volume knob and push it in to start playing. this is on the 9845RR so it should be much the same with yours.

Sorted. Cheers mate

There are two buttons to the right of the volume knob that scroll up and down the albums and the normal buttons for scrolling through the tracks

Think I may have to not give my bro his stereo back as I'm starting to like this one

Means I can go away and only have 3 CD's in the glovebox instead of the usual 30 odd

Eh?

If it's Read The Flockin Manual, I can't as the unit is my bro's and I'm only borrowing it as the Pioneer that was in the car went tits up

Anyway manuals are only for people who are too lazy to try and work it out for themselves
