Default cossie plugs colouring???

why would a cossie engine have plugs 1 and 4 quiet clean and normal looking and plugs 2 and 3 in the middle full of black soot?

Also the car smoke abit been told apparently its the rings that are knackered? Also missfiring whilst idleing and revving her up aswell??

Not mine asking for a mate folks
any ideas?

cheers

could just be the plugs themselves?

if its the rings, maybe 2 and 3 are the bores/rings most effected...

its hard to tell with out the proper equipment

thats wat a mechanic reckons, its a 200 block with .5 oversize pistons etc in it. Would it be possible to just have new rings fitted? The mechanic reckons it needs rebuilding again, or is this just a money making idea from him??

cheers
