What size tyres are they and who makes them, as they differ between manufacturers. I should then be able to find out rolling radius from a dealer...

As you may be aware Michael.I damaged my outer casings on my BBS.So i am looking at going maybe bigger on width as i need new outers anyway.

The size i have now are
front = 7" width with ET30 running 215 40 16 tyres
Rear = 8" width with ET20 running 225 40 16 tyres

Looking to go maybe 7 1/2" on front with 225 40 16
and 8 1/2" or 9 " on rear with tyre. ??????

Now do your stuff.

I think you're going to struggle for a sufficiently wide rear tyre in a 16" size. Move up to 17" and the world is your lobster .

I know that, but not many manufacturers make performance tyres for go-kart rims .
