Not driven a 4 paddle, only Alcon 6 paddle, which I find fine. Try slightly higher rev's when moving off?

Same as Billabong.....Alcon 6 paddle, hardly and different to a standard clutch. Just need to blip the throttle prior to changing down, but you soon get used to that......

Four Plate Paddles are traditionally more jerky, hence everyone (Almost Everyone Who Drive it on the Road) uses the 6 plate.

i wanted an organic but no1 did a decent organic for the ib5 box.

could have used an ap one but would have been stuck with std cover plate as the fingers n release bearing are different to a BC box

really wanted a 6 paddle but couldnt get one at all

its a zetec with ib5. i was onto ap direct about there organic clutches but they couldnt get a cover to fit with my gearbox as the release bearing was a flat one which needed the curly fingers, they do one for a mk5 with the mtx75 box but thats totally different

ended up with a helix 4 paddle cover and plate which fits perfectly, alcon themselves said they didnt do anything and advised me to go for a double plate competition clutch (IIRC)

was a fucking nitemare sorting a clutch at all that was manly enuff for what i needed

bollox to it.... its gonna have to judder

It works fine, my last ZT had an AP 4 paddle and ib5 box. No issues whatsoever.

Way it should be mate and takes a bit of getting used to on the road I guess only ever used them on track but when putting the car on/off the trailer it can be a bit of a pain in the arse at first.
