Just had my new tailgate, with the lock, wash wipe, and all other bits removed, welded and smoothed and sprayed for the wrc rear spoiler

rather than leave the tailgate bare, i need a logo/graphic

the std 'escort rs cosworth' wouldn't look right imo.. also want to leave the scabby ford badge off!

ive thought maybe something like this



in dark red to blend in with the red tailgate.. or black maybe? (no Damo, NOT gold rofl)

any ideas on my design above? or any others?

I cant describe it here, i will show you when I see you but script type font at an angle quite large in the right hand corner WRC on the left COSWORTH as a sticker not a badge same font as ESCORT badge is now...

Yes Dave, I'm sure it will look "OK".........but IMO the WRC look is best on a white or fully "stickered up" car.........

OK, I misunderstood , take it as a compliment, as you don't normally do things by halves

Reckon WRC sticker in black, and personally, I think the chunkier 'Galaxy' Ford badge would look right in the centre of the boot as on later EsCos' also with the 'Cosworth' 'chrome' badge in preference to a stickered 'Power by' badge, imo

Dave, here is one ive done for a customers Escort WRC.

Not to everyone's liking but do that in a nice silver, or charcoal fray & i think it will look right. Not over the top just plain and suttle.
