just wondered what 1/4 mile time a standard s2 could in comparisson with sa a 205gti mk2 golf etc. i have seen plenty pulling 15s(tuned) at pod but nothing special.cheers

 

i ran a 15.5 on a bar of boost.

 

15.7 i got with 15psi

Standard and partly stripped

 

14.75 with 25psi of boost. Really wish I'd stripped all the stereo out now

Must time it again now it's been on a diet

 

14.2, stripped on 15psi-195bhp!

 

I run 14.1 @102 at USC this year...

Probably can get into 13's now got me solid lifters and Aquamist now!

i done 15.5 running 200bhp and a bent cv joint and a clutch and gearbox setup which was finished 12 hours before i ran

im going back in oct at santa pod, will get into the 14s then, will have quickshift by then aswell

 

i wont be running any times my radiator fan has just packed up i only noticed when i could c steam coming through the bonnet vent.oh did i mention this was on tthe way to brands hatch to watch the a1gp ended up goining 4 up in my birds 1.1 saxo

i think alot of it is just weight, last performance ford issue showed a big difference it can make, also if u want to be quick id get some mickey thompson tyres, cost Ł300, but make a massive difference, i wouldnt be in the 12s without them

 

but your in the 12's with a 5 mate only Ford related thing about your car is the intercooler

 

Not sure what mine will do but poping down to shakespear raceway tomrw for a run waht ya brung event so gonna run mine see what i get first time on the strip so

 

well just got bk i got 15.5 at 94mph.

Not that good really but id say thats the turbos fault lol
