Hi all, im new on here, have look on here a threw times, but just havent registerd till now!! neway i own a mergury grey series 2 which has had a fight with rust on the rear chassis rails and lost, i started to make up sum replacement planels but is taking for ever so i was just wondering if ne knows if you can buy replacement ones of the shelf??

You should be able to get them from any good body shop but they will probley have to order them in.

 

if you know of a small metal fabricators,take your old ones down and they might knock you up a pair,for much cheapness,maybe thicker metal,and even a cross bar built in(schwing),

 

I had my rear chassis rails replaced recently, and my garage bought them in for Ł45 each side i think, so somewhere should do them!

hadrian panels should be able to supply you them, any local motorist discount shop will be able to order them in for you

 

Cheers boys, i manage 2 get some of a bloke from works mate had them lying round in his shed!! just gota put them on now
