You may get away with a little more, but unless u know what ur doing it could pink and melt ur engine. I'd leave it as it is.

It's the lift timing you need to time correctly.

ive timed the lift timing with no1 pot at 119 and the no1 inlet valve at full lift its basicly the ignition timing i was after, but grimmeRST has his set to 12 so i will set it to that , till it goes to get chipped

The best way to time a Kent Cam, is to time exactly how long it takes to leave your hand and land in the bin.

Utter shit cams in my opinion.

It's the castings, they seem to vary in quality. I had one which did 20k, and had NO signs of wear. On another engine, it lasted a week

Good for them. Alot of people like them, however, I would rather not have a new engine full of swarf and a knackered cam after a couple of hundred miles. Seen it lots of times from Kent Cams.

The standard cam is a good cam

i have gone for a piper 285T cam. Im running about 18psi at the min and thats fine. didnt want the wilder 285T2 cam, as i didnt want to sacrifice lower down power and driveability

I chose a standard one. Don't want to spoil drivability.
