Default What to expect.....

right then all, i have just picked my RS up with its new bottom end and other trick bits, so its the long haul to run her in right Im just wondering what to expect from her when she's run in and the boost is wound up. It has the following mods:

Billet crank
Steel Rods
Forged Low comp Pistons
Ported Head
Chip
-31 Actuator
Mongoose System
K&N
1.3 Bar of Boost (when turned up after run in period).

Im hoping for more than 200bhp, do u think i will get this?

cheers all

Should be comfortable over 200bhp I would guess (assuming you have a proper intercooler) you'll be comfortably around the 220bhp mark

I use a Pace full width front mount and it's the business

Fit your new intercooler before whacking the boost up. The ACT's will be far too high and will at best sap power at worst you could cause some serious damage. If teh intercooler you are using is the original one I'd stick with no more than 1bar (14.5psi). If you have a diddy Pace cooler then a little more (18psi).

doesnt matter what power you will run
its what the car drives like on the road that counts

tubbykev, its a small radiator that is plumbed in after your turbo

pinched the info below from the Pro Alloy website

Escort RS Turbo S2 -Turbo cooler

This neat little cooler is designed to bolt to the end of our PRO ALLOY front mount intercoler and replace the air scoop which we supply as standard. The purpouse of this unit is to cool the water as it exits the turbo, before it is returned to the water radiator.(normally this water is not cooled at all!) Fitment is rally easy with only two bolts and two hoses to connect. The net result of fitting of this cooler is an over all reduction in the temperatures of the water cooling system.
