Default clutch prob on s2..help!!!!!

just posted this in general room,but really need help had a problem a while ago where by i couldnt get my car into gear at all,so fitted a new clutch ,cable and box but to no avail now its still doing it,all tho i have been told did i adjust the the clutch pedal properly????,as it does seem very,very light for a clutch pedal..........can anyone help!!!!!

might be that the clutch quadrant on the pedal has gone. i couldnt get mine in gear after fitting an ap 4 paddle, so had to use a quadrant and adjustable pedal from a later escort to bring the bite up off the floor.

yeah nice one i checked it last nite and found the ratchet was fooked,so got a new one from fords coming tomorrow! cheeRS again!

A bitch to fit them though.

Best to take the seat out, put something comfy on the floor and lie on your back to do it. Make a real good note of where all the spacers go as well before you strip it out. And make sure you have some good long nosed pliers to pull the retaining clips off and put them back on again.

Did mine with the dash all out and it was still a sod!!

thanx antony b at least i found the problem now after replacing everything inc box,clutch,cable, and now this great!!!
