Broke down on me way from work tonight, and cruising along the M62 going home, and then wham, rev counter drops to zero and there is no ignition at all, no spark and the car won't run or start and buggerall.
Out comes the telephone and the green flag card and the low loader takes me home.
In desperation, i ring Stu - and Stu been the absolute GEM he is, tells me to bring the ECU over this evening, so i do - get to his unit at 22:00ish and plug my ecu into Stus car, and boosh - it won't start
So Stu checks everything, nothing visably amiss, he then says "its either your ECU or the driver thats dead"
Stu check's out the ecu - seems OK, and then swaps the driver over, installing a totally new one and tries it in Stus own car and vrooom - fires into life with the new driver in

So to sum it up
car dies at 19:45
get home on low loader at 21:00
ring Stu at 21:10 and set off to his at 21:30
arrive at Stu's at 22:30ish
00:10 and its all done and dusted and my ECU is firing everything spot on.
So the point of this post? A big THANK YOU to Stu for coming out at stupid o-clock at night and then spending 2 hours on fault finding and fixing the ecu by installing a NEW driver for me at the time of night he should of been pissed up and enjoying a good night out in Syndicate
Stu - i am forever in debt to you for your SUPERB service and hospitality - you are a legend in your own right

No need to be sorry at all Stu - as i said earlier, its one of those things and its just unfortunate
plugged the ECU in just now, and parked the car in a safe place - fired up first time
Once again - Stu - thank you for your outstanding customer service and technical skills - you doing the job at silly-o-clock tonight was fantastic - you could quite easily of said "nope, wait 14 days as i'm on holiday"

No one else's has failed to my knowledge so far, making it a 59:1 failure rate so far but If your concerned, the most honest and best advice i can offer to you is dont buy it mate, or wait a year or so until your happy its proved itself reliable.

Kenny is only off for a few days so will be doing a few things that were pre booked, so i guess yours will be one of them.
