...a friend drives a 1.25 1997 Fiesta Si and we're pretty sure his bottom end has gone.

Any ideas where would be best to pick up a good condition replacement without paying crazy money??

Does anyone know if there are any upgrades available, like a 1.4 or 1.6 bottom end that will slot on no bother?? Will it be worth the extra over a standard bottom end??

This is his daily driver, so wanting something pretty quickly, thanks guys!
