nope, as said the top mounts are different, 3 stud on the mk6, 2 stud on the mk5
also the strut legs have different mountings for the ARB and brake lines

yeah you just need 3 washers or some 5mm spacers made up.
i had washers on mine for well over a year and had no probs what so ever

i needed 6mm of spacers to fit a small turbo cossie set up on my mk6. again, like dan i had no probs with washers at all

could be 6mm then, i just use 3 washers on each bolt to centre the disc in the caliper carrier lol

the reason i had to use 2 more washers on the other side was because i could only get 10mm longer bolts, rather then the 6mm i needed

thats what you use a hack saw for and lop off the longer bits lmfao
thats what i done anyway, except the 2 extra washers

in all honestly I find std brakes and mintex 1177s fine
and all I use mine for now days is trackdays!
