I bought a ap organic clutch 4 months ago and done the mk5 mod which only made a slight difference to no matter how much i adjusted the pedal and now 4 months later its started to slip. Been told to take it back out and give it back to ap to inspect.

The pedal mod will not prevent your clutch from slipping, all it does is pull more cable when the pedal is depressed to give improved release/gear change.

Andy and Dan have the organic clutch and have no pedal mod as far as I know.

What clutch you got at the moment?

I have the Helix organic clutch on mines. When the previous owner had it fitted he also had the mk5 pedal assembly put in but this leaves the clutch pedal sitting far too high for my liking. Is there a happy meduim.

Cheers

S1's have a longer release bearing travel anyhow as compared to S2's because the lever is shorter in the box. Also the quadrant is the biggest one already. I haven't found any need for the pedal mod.
