I just recently bought a act guage but the problem is if i place the t piece connection too near the inlet manifold it gives me a false reading of around 70C which i know is wrong ive now run a long vacum tube from the inlet manifold to the back of the heater box and now only reads between 17c and 35c is this right or is there something still wrong
Ummm where did you mount the sensor? It goes into the right hand side port ontop of the inlet?
When sitting stationary it will read quite high but when on boost it should come down dramatically
You shouldnt need a vacume tube though mate, its only wires

i place the t piece connection in the vacum pipe that goes to the ecu. Does it matter how long that pipe is or should i place the t piece connection as close as i can to the inlet manifold. cheers
