Where the M1 and m18 join will be bad more then likely. Combo of lots of traffic and a massive hill slowing lorries and forcing slower stuff into outer lanes....

How far down the M18 you going?

I'd say with medium traffic, about 1h 15m from where the M42 joins the M1 to the m18 turning? But you may hit heavy stuff?

Thats not too bad...

You go down the M18 for about 5 junctions (half an hour-ish??) Watch out for police sat on slip roads, they love it on the M18, esp J1!

Then yuo turn onto the M180, and junction 4 might be the first one (though Im not sure on that!). Deffo give yourself 2 hours mate at least!

There is a 50 there and always seems to be pretty choked up, but not to a standstill.

AJ you won't need to go as far as the 50 limit on the M1.

Find the M18 off the M1, then follow it and the M180 comes off the M18

Good luck...... you will need it
