i know this has been asked a million times before but ive wen through 6pages of posts and still cant find a thread on it .
need to get oil for car today and was gonna try mobil 1 for a change.
anyone know which is correct grade?
i was wanting to try the silkolene stuff from oilman but left it too late and need oil change today.ive been using castrol rs up till now but fancy a change and most folk rate the mobil 1 so thought wil give that a try.
so what should the rating be 10-40w..
just noticed i posted this in fiesta forum by mistake first

 

mobil 1 is either 5-40w or 15-50. 15-50 is probly best for an rs turbo...tho ford say 5-30 is ment for rs .....totally up to you mate!

 

i have 5-30 in mine if it helps

 

castrol RS 10-60 in mine

 

oh by the way...im useing silkolene 10-50w pro s!

Would use silkolene 10-50w pro s if I could find any in this country
