Default amal question

Hi guys,

I'm a newbie to RS and this forum from Hungary.

I hope someone can ask my question about the amal valve:
take out off the car, seems to be malfunctioning
if i blow air to the C port of the valve (by mouth), the air passes through both other ports W and R
is this normal?
it doesn't make any difference if the valve is energized (battery12V) or not, but i hear a click when applying power to the valve, and when removing power

please help me out if you can

cheers
karle

Alright m8 welcome, it will click when you apply 12v, when you blow through c port it should only come through the w port, as the r port is a vent, if you blow through c port put finger over w port it should only, very slightly come through r port. I personally would not advise you to run a bleed valve as this is just tricking your ecu to run more boost and if you dont have the fuel to match this (MELTDOWN!)
