anyone know if 16i valve stem oil seals are the same as a xr/s1 mk 3 escort? i know they had different cams, lifters and port sizes but were the valves any bigger?

The size of the valves will not effect the size of the valve stem oil seal. I rebuilt my RSi head a few times and always used the standard ford valve stem oil seals that all CVH escorts use and never had a problem.
