Call the Police, "Obtaining goods by deception" sounds about right.

Try for some Hitmen, theres a story in the Standard recently about a minicabbie that paid Ł1K to an undercover Policeman to clip a rival mini-cabbie. So be aware for that when you make the cash exchange

ive got this problem at the moment, sent some air to air out (not the new ones off ima) and waited 7 days, posted them then next day i got the cheque back bounced.
the buyer says he is sending them back but this was three weeks ago,he is in london but we are collecting a car from down there on friday so he may get a knock on the door,it was Ł280 as well.
in future iam waiting 10 days now for cheques to clear, fooking tossers ruin it for every one else.

as for contacting ebay you would get more response ringing the local chip shop.

I sold a set of genuine cossie bonnet vents on ebay two weeks ago....so I thought, I'm still waiting for flippin' payment. He's not replying to messages or emails and still appears to be continuing to buy stuff from other people cos I checked his feedback.

How long do people normally wait for payment for stuff? It cost me Ł7 to list them

Keep re-presenting the cheque.
It will cost him IRO Ł50.00 each time it bounces
If you're lucky, you could get as many as 7 goes
