The diesel box is about as much use as a fart in a spacesuit. It is no tougher than an RST item. The only benefit is they are cheap. Personally I would fit an Escort RS Turbo box from Bernie at CTS.

Stick with the standard clutch as these are fine for 180+bhp.

it needs a new clutch anyway as its slipping.

wheres cts mate?

mad for it only deal in second hand parts as far as I'm aware. Can't comment on them as a business as I've never dealt with them. Before fitting the new clutch it's worth having the face of the flywheel skimmed to ensure a proper surface.

CTS are contactable at www.gearboxman.co.uk I believe they are based over Luton way in Bedfordshire. I use a Bernie (CTS) box myself and despite having 250bhp stuffed through it it hasn't skipped a beat since being fitted. I really can't recomend this guy highly enough.

standard boxes are tough enough mate. so are the clutches

but an upgrade from standard would be an escort one with LSD

how much are you likely to pay for a decent S2 LSD box? and will it literally bolt straight on to the fiesta RST?
