Hello all,
What is needed when fitting cosworth alloys to the festa, Cos i know they wont fit straight on easily,
Also can i see pics of as many FRST as pos with the alloys fitted so i can have a taster.

it depends which cossie rims you are after, i have seen escort 17" cossie rims on a fiesta b4, which looked good, but u av got to take into account the width of the wheels aswell as the diameter, because i had to fit spacers on my wheels on my car and they are only 195mm wide, getting wide rims will cause them to rub on the inside of the arch or on the dampers. so appropriate spacing is needed, and a fair bit of arsing around with the arches would be needed, it all depends what u want to go for!

 

the mondeo rims are a good alternative cos they dont take so much agro to fit and look very nice

 

The Escort Cossie rims are 16".

As louturbo says the Mondeo rims look the same. They also have a better offset. The 5 spoke rims come in different offsets though (as I found out teh other day ) ET35 and ET40. iirc the ET35 was the better for clearance around the plastic filler pipe.

For tyres stick with a 195/45/16 for clearance and don't slam it as it looks crap and will handle worse than a base model Corsa

we had a brand new set of escos rims for Sassy's FRST, but after seeing they stick out a fair bit & make it tram line like a bitch we sold them.
