Default Help Bias box and hydro clutch issues.

Morning all. I’m in the final stages of putting my track car together and have a couple of questions I need help with.

The first is I’ve put fluid in the hydraulic clutch and bleed it through and it seem to have a pedal although seemed quite stiff but now I seem to have a small amount of fluid coming out between the gearbox and engine so can only assume it’s leaking from one of the hoses on the centre bearing, was I supposed to put ptfe on the threads maybe? Also the burton quick shift I have installed seems very stiff but maybe this is because I haven’t had the engine running for long yet?

2nd issue is I’ve fitted a comp brake bias box with hydro clutch conversion, straight swap my arse, and none of the pedals seem to line up properly, is there a way of adjusting these?

These are are the final bits for my car to be finished so any help would be most appreciated.

Comp brake stuff is very much not a straight fit in my limited experience. Their 205 on needed huge mods.

there is a fluid you can add to brake and clutch joints like a liquid ptfe.

are you sure the slave is not leaking? Can you get a camera in there?

Hi Toby. I’m just in the process of splitting the engine and gearbox to have a look, can’t see in there with it in place. I bought a brand new hydraulic clutch for it as I didn’t want to take a risk with the old one that was already fitted so can only assume it’s one of the pipes.

Hopefully it is just something simple. Just a pain having to do it.
