The one in Ebay is a good replica imo. It looks well with the livery on it too.

Quaife developed a box for the lotus esprit turbo v8 as an aftermarket replace e t for the Renault. The esprit torque was heavily capped but the engine could run over 600 Bhp with a
decent box.

why on earth would you want that power in one of those? I had a chrome orange one with black mono block alloys, must be 19 years ago. The thing was bloody lethal, when it was running. Lots Of Trouble Usually Serious = LOTUS.

Sadly not James. I've had too many house moves to have any pictures, it was never my thing taking pictures. I don't have 1 old school printed picture of any of my previous cars. Sad really.
My mate owns this place, so you can imagine when I was single and had money, I had quite a bit of fun. Trade prices and move them on quickly.

Standard gearbox magnesium case made by FF Developments with a dog gear kit also by FF Developments, then Xtrac did a gear kit for rallying and rallycross, for motorsport rear diff housing and front diff housing (part of transaxle) were re-cast in aluminium, Quaife have dome straight cut and helical gearboxes, both use the transfer diff and housing from the original transmission along the with the front differential.
Best part of £40k for the complete transmission drive train
