I have sold a few and bought a few and all of them are all over the place on values...they just want to list them without buying them and my crap 007 plate has been on for over 2 yrs without so much as an enquiry.
You could gamble it and just ebay and hope or look at some of the auctions but most of the online stuff is just an algorithm and they will chop you off at the knees to buy it.
I’ll advertise it for what I think it’s worth (realistically and compared to similar plates) and see what happens.
I’m in no rush and in the mean time I may even stick it on my saff
the online places are utter crap as stated above - i had a plate with them for ages and it never sold.
Chucked it on ebay and it sold in a week for 700 quid which was more than the new plate i bought directly off dvla so win win
Yeah I think Ill try advertising privately rather than involving an online company, like what you did really.
I can let it sit on eBay so maybe thats a good shout
I can't believe how cheap I got my dvla plate 250 for yb cos plate lol
its crazy - i paid 500 quid for 16v RS plate and then about 8-900 for my RAN 666 plate. The one I had on my Beemer wa sa gift but ive had that for 15 years and its a single digit plate so prob gone up a bit now too
