The re-spray has been very well done but not sure if I would have gone for a non Ford colour. I also think it was done a fair while ago when more unusual car colours were all the rage .Fair play to whoever had it done as it must have a hard choice to go for such a way out colour.
That doesnt look like a genuine Cosworth to me, have a look at the drivers seat, also it has chrome trim around window rubbers, I dont think cossies had that, just plain black.

Well spotted!! I have never heard of chrome strips around the windows unless it was a special build order at the time? The drivers seat now you have mentioned it does'nt look like a recaro either.

The only thing I know is it's a 2000e and judging by the number plate font I would say it's in ireland, it does look like jewel violet but a few colours display similar on a picture
