Saw this picture earlier. Interested to know more information about it, and is the color jewel violet?

Unusual colour but looks well presented.

tyres look very shiny which makes me think the photo was a while ago as people use more Matt finishes now...I might be wrong.

The re-spray has been very well done but not sure if I would have gone for a non Ford colour. I also think it was done a fair while ago when more unusual car colours were all the rage .Fair play to whoever had it done as it must have a hard choice to go for such a way out colour.

That doesn’t look like a genuine Cosworth to me, have a look at the drivers seat, also it has chrome trim around window rubbers, I don’t think cossies had that, just plain black.

Well spotted!! I have never heard of chrome strips around the windows unless it was a special build order at the time? The drivers seat now you have mentioned it does'nt look like a recaro either.

The only thing I know is it's a 2000e and judging by the number plate font I would say it's in ireland, it does look like jewel violet but a few colours display similar on a picture
